The 2006 Elections

The recent elections have demonstrated that the American public is not ready for anything but "sound bites" for information. There was no public outcry against the type of election "crap" heard many times daily on the various media. The amazing lack of specific information about problems, solutions and so forth coming from candidates was totally disheartening. The public just stayed silently on the sidelines never issuing a complaint. The media,with all the pomp of the annointed ones, merely reported what was fed by the politicians PR types. We will end up with the same pathetic collection in Washington with different labels, Democrat instead of Republican. The Demo's will not change the lobby scene because, as Pelosi has demonstrated, it's business as usual.... Hail friend, what can you do for me today; remember what I did for you yesterday.
